WHAT A WEEKEND ( Oct 1 – Oct 3 ). PREMIER LEAGUE⚽

After two weeks without league football, the month of October started off with plenty of football. First of foremost it was a weekend full of derbies. The London Derbies, Manchester Derby.

Kick starting with first derby was the North London Derby ( Arsenal vs Tottenham). It was a battle of who will go on top of the league, with Arsenal ahead of their rivals with a point, and with both teams in form coming to this match. Tottenham who had not lose a single game this season, to put Arsenal on pressure, who had already lost their first match of the season against their rivals Manchester United but bounced back with a win against Brentford. With much confidence and full of Energy coming to this Game.

It was a mouthwatering match, watching two sides battling for points. But with Arsenal impressive start of the game, they managed to open the scoring with a tantalizing finish from the Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey. After dominating the game Arsenal conceded a penalty, after Gabriel Magalhaes brought down his fellow Brazilian Richarlison. As usual Kane converted the penalty. Early in the second half Arsenal took the lead, after a mistake from there Goalkeeper Hugo loris and Gabriel Jesus made a tap in of the ball. Arsenal continued impressing during the match and in the 62nd minute a late challenge from Emerson Royal saw him shown a straight Red card. Reduced to 10 men Tottenham had much less of the ball and conceded the third goal from Granit Shaka. As the Full time whistle was blown the North London was painted Red🔴

Other results of the English League. Everton had to come from a one nil deficit to win the game 1-2 away from home to Southampton. Where else Newcastle humbled Fulham by four goals to one at Craven Cottage. It was a stalemate draw between Bournemouth and Brentford. Chelsea had to get a scrapy win from there London rivals Crystal Palace. While Wolves defeated Wolves 2-0. It was another bad results from Liverpool as they were forced a draw with Brighton.

The Manchester Derby was the match waited for this season, As two close rivals came head to head at Etihad stadium. It was Eric Ten Hag first Derby. Coming to this match, Manchester United were on a streak of four win. While their rivals Manchester City had their own in form status as Haland was scoring for fun.

It was a witnessed Game of mouthwatering, and exciting game from the fist minute till the last. Haland scoring a Hatrick in his last two home games, coming off this game to break a record never witnessed in the premier league

Manchester Derby started off with a very high intensive atmosphere.. As the inform Manchester City opened the scoring through Phil Phoden, marking his 50 goals in the premier League.. after that the goals started glowing all over, as usual Haland scored with a header coming of the goal line. The third goal was sublime, with the assist of Kevin De Bryune was well scored by Haland to grab his second.. Before the end of First Half Manchester United were 4-0 down. The second Half started well, as Antony scored a beauty of a goal to give Manchester United hope. But Haland and Phoden were on another level as they both grabbed a Hatrick with the latter scoring the 5th and Phoden finished off with the 6th goal. It was the first Manchester Derby to produce two Hatrick in the same game. Manchester United fought back but managed to add two goals, as Martial came off the bench to score twice. It was a good game witnessed during the game. As the game finished 6-3 to Manchester City.

Closing of the weekend in the premier league games was Leicester match against Nottingham Forest.. as the game ended in favour of Leicester 4-0, to grab their first win of the season. As Madison scored twice and assisted the fourth goal, with Patson Daka scoring a cheeky flick.
